Accessibility
We build this site to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or none of the above. Here's the standard we hold it to and how to tell us when we miss.
Accessibility
Our commitment
Meliora Solutions is committed to making this website accessible to people with disabilities, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not a cleanup pass at the end.
The standard we target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the benchmark most commonly referenced under the ADA. We test against it as the site changes rather than only at launch.
What's built in
- Keyboard access — every link, button, form field and menu can be reached and operated without a mouse, with a visible focus ring at all times.
- Screen readers — semantic headings and landmarks, descriptive alt text on meaningful images, labelled form fields, and errors announced as they happen.
- Contrast — body and interface text is checked against the 4.5:1 minimum, in every colour combination used on the site.
- Motion — if your system requests reduced motion, animation is switched off rather than merely shortened. The scrolling client logos can be stopped with a visible control.
- Zoom and resizing — the layout reflows to 200% zoom and down to a 320px viewport without horizontal scrolling or clipped content.
- Touch targets — interactive elements are sized to at least 44×44 pixels.
- Two languages — the whole site is available in English and Spanish, with the page language marked up correctly so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
Known limitations
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, a third-party service whose delivery we don't control. If a font fails to load, the site falls back to system fonts and remains fully readable. If you find anything else that gets in your way, we want to hear about it — the list above is what we've verified, not a claim of perfection.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, send us a message through the contact form and describe what happened and what you were using. We treat accessibility reports as priority and will reply within one business day.
Getting the information another way
If the website itself is a barrier, it should never stop you working with us. Ask and we'll provide any information here in another format, and we're happy to handle the entire consultation by phone or in person instead.
Let's take the books off your desk.
Tell us what you're running and we'll come back with a straight answer on what it takes and what it costs.
